Hello, I’m Cathy Joyce

And I’m delighted to welcome you to Eventful Riders. Originally from the beautiful West of Ireland and now based in London, my journey with horses has been a lifelong passion. I grew up on a farm, riding before I could even walk, surrounded by a family that shared my love for horses. My childhood was filled with pony camps, hunting, and showjumping—moments that sparked a deep love for equestrian adventures.

Two years ago, I made a pivotal shift and joined a sales & marketing representation company, which provided me with the flexibility to reignite my true passion: horses. After 15 years away from the saddle, I realized my heart was still riding high. As they say, it’s never too late to get back in the saddle, and I’m so grateful to be doing what I love once again.

In April 2025, I launched Eventful Riders on social media. Originally, I set up the page to create something a little different in the Events Industry: a chance for buyers and suppliers to connect over a shared interest and a passion for exploring different destinations on horseback. What started as a simple idea has quickly transformed into a thriving community, gaining over 80,000 followers across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok in just six months—proof that there’s a growing herd of horse lovers looking for more meaningful, experience-led ways to connect.

In October 2025, I decided to take a leap of faith and pursue my dream of building Eventful Riders into a successful brand, providing a community hub for horse lovers and hosting amazing trips around the world. With my extensive background and experience, it feels only natural to transition into the equestrian world, and I hope you will join me on this exciting journey and support my new venture.
